Lift capacity

Tp – centre of gravity
Tpa – load centre distance
Tph – height of centre of gravity
Lh – lift height
– an example of the area where the centre of gravity has to be located to achieve nominal lift capacity.

You should pay attention to the following:

  • The load is often asymmetrical.
  • Attachments have their own weight and in many cases may also result in a longer load centre distance.
  • If you operate a truck with an attachment, it must have a plate stating weight and load centre distance.
